Payment, Refund & Rental Policy

1. Payment Policy (Pay on Delivery) To keep things simple and safe for you, Edtoys operates on a Pay-on-Delivery model.

  • No Advance Needed: You do not need to pay anything on the website to book your order.

  • How to Pay: When our delivery partner brings the "Little Thinker Kit" to your doorstep, you can pay the rental fee (₹499) via UPI (GooglePay / PhonePe / Paytm) or Cash.

  • Receipt: You will receive a digital payment confirmation immediately via WhatsApp/SMS.

2. The "Happy Child" Guarantee (Refunds) We are confident your child will love our curated Montessori kits. However, if things don't work out, we offer a 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

  • How it works: If you feel the toys are not suitable for your child, contact us within the first 7 days of delivery.

  • The Refund: We will come to pick up the kit and refund your entire Rental Fee (₹499).

  • Note: A nominal logistics fee (₹50) will be deducted to cover the delivery runner's fuel cost.

3. Cancellations

  • Before Delivery: You can cancel your order anytime before the delivery reaches you. There is zero penalty.

  • Mid-Month Cancellation: If you return the toys early (e.g., after 15 days), the full month's rental fee still applies, as the kit was reserved for you.

4. Damaged or Lost Toys We know that "Play" can sometimes get messy!

  • Normal Wear & Tear: Minor scratches, paint chipping, or normal play marks are fully covered by Edtoys. You will not be charged.

  • Broken or Lost Parts: If a major wooden part is broken beyond repair or lost (e.g., a puzzle board is snapped or the Magnetic Wand is missing), we may charge a nominal replacement fee (at cost price, usually ₹50-₹150) to fix the kit for the next child.

5. Hygiene Promise Every kit is UV-Sterilized and inspected before it leaves our library. If you receive a box that does not meet your hygiene standards, please reject the delivery immediately, and we will send a fresh replacement.
